farewell salsa 11/12

post JDC party at dance studio. party suppose to start at 6.30pm but people came strolling in at 7. finally we couldnt wait any longer that we just started with the pizzas. time flies especially when you are having fun. going crazy with olivia and chengyee is hilarious. imagine girls jumping around with pizza in a hand and camera in another. hahas. its it fun???! olivia is my new found mate in salsa. we faced the same outcast problem and since then we stick together like semi twins. hahs.

suppose to leave together with olivia and chengyee but got dragged to stay a little longer. had a super long gossiping, talking, and advicing session. karmen and kim really went all out to ask me to stay. they say the vice chairperson and chairperson are really nice and i should talk to them more and help them in their workload. well, it always require two hands to clap. so i really have to feel that she is trying to know me better. on my side, i am tying more and more people down, hoping these people will stay until we are done with itsc. tough but know we can do it.

Joint Dance Performance 2012

Finally we are done with joint dance concert 2012. many dance clubs had put up wonderful performances!!! like how people usually describe us." 1minute on stage requires 10 years of hard work". all dancers deserve a pat at the back for all the sleep they had sacrificed, the bruises they suffered and all the efforts they had put in to make this concert possible!! not forgetting to thank JDC main committee. this will not happen without their perfect planning. Also expressing my graditude to the audiences! this concert wouldnt be a success without them!!! hahas. there are so many people that i want to thank but this post is getting too long......

anyway, after ytd, i realize how much i enjoyed being on the stage. i do not feel nervous! excitment was the only sensation that flows in the blood stream and i cant help to smile!! i felt incredibly HAPPY. Right after each item, the cheering is all we are looking for! all the sweat, they are worth.

backstage was in a chaos especially before the samba item. many girls hardly had time to have dinner what more for makeup??? count myself lucky to be able to get Elaine to helo with makeup. didnt i mentioned i am a noob in makeup??? anyway, things were really out of control even after we went to dressing room. everyone is busy with others hair and sadly i have to do mine on my own. hahs. i am glad i can come up with something simple and get luna to help me with the coloured shoelace.

10mins before, we are still rushing to get the girls ready. after samba, many went to change and start removing the makeup. cheng yee was really stressed as there are so many girls yet to put the sliver facepaint 20mins before the show. as the item IC, she couldnt even breathe properly!! hectic!!! nonetheless, we still make it on time and everything went well. hmmmm. except the fact that i almost slipped twice. hahs. from the eye of the audiences, we did well. hahas.

entrance to curtain call was amazing!! salsa jumbo in and the crowd cheer for us!! lols. i cant help but laugh!!!! everything is still clear in my mind.... i hoped time Could pause there. by the time the curtain reopened, most people had already rushed out to take photos with their friends. MJ crowded at a area to cheer for their group but salsa? dispersed already.

i have yet made up my mind where i should go next. but one thing for sure, staying at salsa is one of the choices.

Killing Off Homo Sepian

Thinking that I have the time to go down to IMM, samsung customer service and library all at one place, jurong east. I packed my bag, stuffed my dance heels, books, laptop and camera; carrying the heaviest backpack ever towards my destination. Looking at the gloomy sky, I went back for my umbrella. You wont know when you might need it. 

First stop was to Best Denki. My computer had been suffering from some kind of technical problems and it require some what immediate treatment for the speakers and the keyboard. Thinking I could relieve the stress on my back, I approached the customer service officers at Best Denki. 

"Excuse me, I would like to send my laptop for repair."Staring at the plump lady sitting across who was happily talking to her colleague earlier. 

"Sorry mdm, Best Denki had stopped this service to send the items to the agent."Pointing at the signage behind her and continue, "Now you will have to go down to the agent itself, present your original receipt and pay first if there's any hardware replacement. You can come back to us with the receipt and Best Denki will reimburse the amount to you." Upon hearing that, I felt a sudden rush of disappointment and waste of effort together with anger. "But I wasn't told about this." That was all I could afford at that moment. I left to call Nigel to vent my anger. I went through the warranty contract again, just when I thought there was some light, I saw this last sentence : Best Denki reserves all rights to vary the terms and conditions at anytime. The world came crushing down and the backpack seemed to be 10times heavier. There was nothing left to argue. That's when I realized I really hate the world. Why must we work to make ourselves better but at the same time make others miserable? I walked slowly towards CJ building across IMM, it was raining then. 

The officer who attended to me allowed me to update my camera even without warranty. I am quite grateful. I dont think I can take a second rejection. 

i guess i am still not over the whole best denki issue. if i knew that i have to travel to taiseng to get my laptop repaired, i wouldnt even buy it from best denki in the first place!!! haiz.. i hate home sepians!! hate how all of us are selfish.
